"We booked late (only 3 weeks before our trip) and was told on the phone that it was not a problem to get a room. We even received a second floor room that has a gorgeous view of the bay. We highly recommend the Water Street Inn for its very friendly staff, wonderful location, cleanliness, and heated pool. Plus it has a big fire pit that is turned on every night. We enjoyed s'mores both nights we were there. This is a must stay the next time we go to Door County."

"My husband and myself treated ourselves to our first trip to Door County in late October for just one night. We loved the location right across from the water. The big picture window looking out on the water is just perfect! Very clean comfortable beds and new bathrooms made this a very nice choice. We will be back next year!"
“From Now On This is Our Place. We have always preferred the town of Ephraim over any other town on the peninsula because of the wonderful water views and the fact that it is rather peaceful in relation to some of the others. The Water Street Inn has the best view of Eagle Harbor of any place in Ephraim.”

“Loved Everything About the Water Street Inn. Visited during the Lighthouse Weekend with my friend. Stayed for 3 nights and loved it. All of the rooms have a lake view and the sunsets were gorgeous. An absolute pleasure to sit outside on the balcony area. Rooms were immaculate, beds were wonderfully comfortable. Keurig coffee maker with assortment of coffees provided in room. Refrigerator had bottled water inside it. Love these kinds of touches and extra service.”

"As other reviewers have said, this old inn with a beautiful westward view of the town's harbor from every room has been beautifully restored, is immaculately clean and very comfortable. As to the comfort, I will add that our room (and I assume all others) has been equipped with a state-of-the-art heating/cooling system..."
recent renovations
"We were concerned about the street out front and the recent renovations...but found the room was VERY quiet and the room well updated. Bed was more comfortable than most. Room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Would definitely stay again. Autumn colors at their peak 3rd week of October."
